OMG Jessica is a machine! It’s so cool to see someone making this much progress and getting so strong. I know I keep saying it, but she’s like the poster child for benefits of women training with weights. She has the ideal body women strive for yet she’s in the gym squatting, deadlifting, benching, and training heavy on everything…a practice women normally associate with “getting bulky” or “too muscular”. I’ll have to get some pics up soon.

Met up with Jessica this morning and we knocked out a quick squat sesh. What a great way to start off the day! We did some lower body accessory work Wednesday when we pulled and I’m sure we’ll do more when we train lower again this Wednesday so we just kept it short and simple with Olympic squats today.

Good night to deadlift as I was totally ragetastic over Kroger putting the most succulent chocolate chunk cookies right in front of the milk pretty much FORCING me to buy them and eat way too many. I’m positive they did this on purpose to sabotage my diet because they know I don’t go down the “bad” aisles. So sinister.

Presses felt really good and strong today. I wonder if it’s because I haven’t benched & incline pressed yet this week?

I shoveled snow pretty much every day this week and my body was just fried but still got in a good workout. I swear snow shoveling is a killer workout! I’m pretty proud of Jessica, Craig and myself for making it to the gym on a snowy Friday night and grinding out a great workout when we all really wanted to skip.

Oh yes…the snow training. We got hit with a ton of snow here in Ohio so I shoveled every day this week. Since I have to do it anyway, might as well view it as a workout right? If you don’t understand why this is a workout, you probably didn’t grow up in NY or anywhere snowy and earn your allowance by shoveling for your parents lol.

Jessica and I have been crushing the squats and pulls lately so we decided to take a day and do some other stuff. We ended up having a sick workout and I was crazy sore the next day! Amanda joined us so it was like double gorgeous redhead day at Eaton Barbell.
